The geometry of the object is directly targeted to the peaceful understanding of cultural and historical heritage across. The elongated shape of the new building follows a continuous view and it is visible from every part of the cultural center. The membrane is perforated with the original interpretation of the motives of the Afghan ornamentation. In the interior of the building the membrane creates a mystical atmosphere suitable for displaying art and artefacts. Perforated membrane helps users as well to try to feel what was the atmosphere in the residential areas (carved spaces) in Buddha cliff and in surroundings. Longitudinally mounted object is adapted to the natural terrain and the promenade on the roof opens up the possibility of unimpeded observation of the environment from the edge of the ridge. The building is placed longitudinally on the field and follows the natural geometry of the field. The object’s unobtrusive presence in a given landscape aims to make the object coexist with nature and give its users the opportunity to enjoy the role of an observer.
